The revisionism on that is left me incredulous. As if it was something spontaneous and isolated to a day. He openly called for it. He and those fanatic lawyers he surround himself by were hounding state officials and staff for months. Ask the fella who fielded that phone call in which he asked for 11000 votes to be fiddled if it was done with love, or that bloke from Arizona who had Guiliani and Trump down his neck for weeks on end, and those poor women from Georgia who had to take legal action. Day of love? Lol. Must have been fucking terrifying being in that building. Hang Mike Pence because he wont falsely overturn the outcome of the election. Ask him how much love he felt that day

And lets be honest here. It was best part of 4 years ago. The inability to have held him to account for it by now is shameful really and has enabled him to put this peaceful protest narrative out there because the insurrection planning has never been prosecuted. This Jack Smith bloke has done an admirable job in the face of the hurdles that politically appointed partisan judges have put up, enabled by the daft system over there, but 4 years on is not the workings of any kind of effective checks and balances.
