No disagreement per se - hard to project how many deaths might have been prevented should HHS have adopted a stronger stance against potentially dangerous food additives though.
My point, though, remains - however bad food additives are- just imagine how many will die when JFK Jr. blocks a COVID-MUTANT-26 (or some such) vaccine - to the extent that no vaccine is developed and is available in the USA.
JFK Jr. will be - should he be approved -in position to do the most harm, by far, to Americans and possibly the world (since in the face of a new pandemic, if no American company pursues a vaccine - who will?) - simply by being anti-vax. JFK Jr. is anti-science, anti-established practice - and that he may, by random happenstance, object to potentially dangerous food additives - doesn't change the fact that the guy is a know-nothing, conspiracy lunatic who has no business whatsoever being in charge of pre-school health education much less of the United States Health and Human Services.
