according to the Wall Street Journal Trump plans to deport 4% of the US population - probably amongst the most productive citizens how's that gonna work?
They chose the least damaging option. Sure. Said as much. Whether that's financial damage is a bit speculative. You’re getting like Keith Moon on the 115 thread. A silly answer to every point made. His opponents paid up in the libel case because it was the cheapest option.
If I might I ask, what causes inflation? The answer to that question might help you understand this better. Here we go again. Inflation is dealt with by the Fed reserve, not the White House. The force for inflation lies with the House of Reps. Note they have just declined to increase the borrowing limit.
Citizens cannot be deportedaccording to the Wall Street Journal Trump plans to deport 4% of the US population - probably amongst the most productive citizens how's that gonna work?
They should confiscate all the frozen assets to pay for it then.Reparations would entail a level of contrition from the Russians that simply isn’t going to manifest itself.
Absolutely no chance.
I watched a WSJ video on YouTube yesterday and to be fair I thought they sounded OK (if the standard today is you cant believe a word a politician says). If I understand them right they are going to start with the most obvious cases (stuff that was probably going to be done no matter whos in charge) and admit that what they said pre election was nonesense in reality given the scale of the challenge so its a multi year effort.according to the Wall Street Journal Trump plans to deport 4% of the US population - probably amongst the most productive citizens how's that gonna work?
Tom Homan, the Border Czar, he has been explaining this on every tv station every day since he got nominated.I watched a WSJ video on YouTube yesterday and to be fair I thought they sounded OK (if the standard today is you cant believe a word a politician says). I could be wrong but it seems that both parties want the same thing but republicans just can't help themselves being drama queens.
You got it perfectly right. Democrats equivocatedI think I’ve seen that too. To be fair, I heard Trump in an interview say they would start with criminals, gang members and when asked about a law-abiding “illegal” who’d built a business, led a productive life etc he said “well, we’d have to think carefully about that” The interview was over an hour long by ABC News. Worth a watch. I didn’t hear anything from the Democrat side on deportation of criminals or gang-members but their messaging was so garbled, I could easily have missed. You’d certainly hope they’d do the same had they won.
Quite what will happen with these “Sanctuary Cities” will be very interesting !
The oldest politically financial question. For me, government increasing the supply of money, either by spending or other means such as quantitative easing is the key. Right wingers tend to blame wage inceases but I don’t agree with that, it is cart before the horse imho. As usual, you offer nothing just your normal pretence. My bet is you have no idea.If I might I ask, what causes inflation? The answer to that question might help you understand this better.
