General Bone Spurs is nothing if not a total coward, he won't do anything that puts him under even a modicum of stress. Which is why I think it's very unlikely. Would love it if he did though.

He's always banging on about testifying. It's only an issue because he keeps threatening to do it. Literally any other defendant gets told its a bad idea and that's the end of it. But Trump can't resist BSing his way through life. Its always worked for him so in his mind he assumes all he has to do is get on the stand and rant and rave like he does out on the street or at his rallies.

His lawyers will no doubt try everything to dissuade him but he has form for sacking lawyers that tell him things he doesn't want to hear.

I give it 33% chance he ends up testifying.

He Jails Shitgibbon he uses it to whip up Cletus and his fuckpigs.

He fines him a few thousands dollars. The Mango Mussolini just keeps paying the fines whilst carrying on breaking his gagging order.

Personally I'd jail him. Not in a manaforte hotel style jail but stick him in a proper jail sharing a cell with Bubba.

Judgment reserved, we'll find out what he'll do about it soon... but Justice Merchan was apparently visibly irritated. I agree with other commenters, it will likely be maximum fine + ultimatum that anything even approaching infringement will be met with a stint in jail. We'll then see how brave Trump is when that has been made crystal clear.
