Donald Trump

If you've watched the whole interview, he did not say he wants to throw everyone in the January 6th committee. In jail.

Rather he thinks they should be in jail because they were biased and deleted and destroyed 1 year and a half of testimony evidence. Evidence he believes exonerates him.

None of this has been investigated or proven. But if his claims are true ( that they purposely destroyed evidence) then it would easily get past a grand jury.

Even though if you ask me, he has no intentions of dragging them to trial. He's just pointing out that they are so corrupt that jail wouldn't be inappropriate.
All the evidence is published. If a chunk was missing someone would have pointed this out, but nobody has.

Donalds trumps claims being true. what is the actually likelihood of that?

and how do you figure that we has demonstrably lied over 30k times during his four years in office?
That's my point. For someone who supposedly lies all the time, a weirdly high amount of his claims turn out to be true.

This is Facts check's version of events.

It should be noted that Factcheck.org it's itself a left leaning organization.

Pat attention to the framing. Fact check chose to fact check the claim that the j6 committee "destroyed all the evidence."

Notice the key word they snuck in there. Of course it's false that they destroyed ALL the evidence. The question is whether they destroyed or failed properly archive ANY evidence they used.

As for your claim that 'someone would have pointed this out' well someone did.

As even fact-check observed:
" Republican Rep. Barry Loudermilk, of Georgia, had told Fox News in a story published on Aug. 8, 2023, that the committee hadn’t adequately preserved some documents, data and video depositions"

In a letter to Loudermilk on July 7, 2023, Rep. Bennie Thompson, who chaired the committee, reported that more than a million records had been prepared for publication and archiving in coordination with several governmental offices, including the National Archives and Records Administration and the Committee on House Administration."

In a footnote to that letter, Thompson explained, “the Select Committee did not archive temporary committee records that were not elevated by the Committee’s actions, such as use in hearings or official publications, or those that did not further its investigative activities.”

What exactly does this include?

Trump was impeached because the committee (including Republicans) decided there was enough evidence against him, which the MAGA Republican Party fought hard to bury.

Republican Robert Muller stated there was enough evidence to convict him of a crime in the 2016 election interference case, and only stated he hadn't been indicted was because he was President. The Muller Report was heavily redacted and misrepresented by Trump's DoJ.

Trump Was indicted in the hush money case because a Grand Jury decided there was a case to answer. In July this year, prior to Trump's sentencing, a strong Republican leaning Supreme Court ruled Trump was at least presumptively immune from prosecution and sentencing was suspended indefinitely.

Any doubt this guy has gotten away with it?

By definition, it does not include EVIDENCE. The committee said what was included in the stuff left out and it is not evidence, that is the whole point. “Records that were not elevated…..” means stuff that never became evidence. If Trump had such evidence he would produce it. Keep flogging that dead horse.
