Doner Kebabs

Yogurtlu Adana is the ultimate kebab. Kofte, tomato sauce, with yoghurt and butter cooked in the oven on Turkish bread.

Best place for kebabs (meat kebabs, not doner) IMO is North London.

What did you have in the end?
Mixed starter, (Chicken tikka, lamb tikka, shish kebab)
Large donner on naan with mayo
Chips

Did it all go in one sitting? :)
There was a delay of about 2 minutes in between the starter and main, and that was because I poured a nice cold Red Stripe.

Do posters realise how much salt and fat is in a doner?

Which is why it tastes so nice. I occasionally eat one sober. I have a chicken kebab pretty much every week, but sometimes a doner is the only thing that will do.

Lots of hot chilli and extra onions.
A lad at work has a kebab every single night for his tea. He's a big lad, obviously, and has already had warnings off his doctor that he is in danger of keeling over. He is 33.

A lad at work years and years ago would have a kebab for lunch and a curry for tea, sometimes followed by another kebab after the match, (he is a blue), when we were at Maine Road. He had time off for gout.

When I was about 21 I used to work near White City at Old Trafford, and this enormously fat bloke I worked with used to go to one of the kebab shops opposite the Tollgate every dinner and get a large mixed kebab. As a young lad I couldn't believe that someone could eat so much every day, it was fascinating. He would go through one of those Walkers multi-packs in an afternoon. He was gay, and used to come in every Monday morning with love bites all round his neck, talking about young foreign lads he had copped off with in the Village. Eye opening times.

I have complete and utter respect for anyone who gets gout in this day and age. It is the sign of someone who has lived life to the full.

I know this is gunna sound a bit gay, but has anyone ever had a sit down meal in the Topkappi on Deansgate in town?

they do a mixed donner on a rice with salad, yoghurt and chili sauce its about £10 but its a really nice place me and the missis love it in there

I went to Bulagria the other year and the guy asked if I wanted everything on it. I did not expect him to put fries on it as well. Tasty though.
