Ste, were you trying to persuade the Showsec girls to 'bang the drum' for you today at half time? ;)

LoL was this broadcast on the big screen or something? a few people noticed this today.

Showsec have been told to get people to sit down in Block 109.
We are allowed to stand when we're attacking/score a goal, and hopefully when we need to go take a piss.

She was telling me to sit down apparently, I couldn't hear/see her, and she just wondered right over to where I sit and wrote down my number.

This is when I got paranoid thinking I'm going to have a 3 match ban.
So went chatting to them at HT. They said I wasn't banned but who knows, find out with the letter on Monday.

Another tactic to kill the atmosphere at City.

Couldn't care less what Rags think... Many "blues" it seem spend more time over in the Rag Cafe, constantly worrying about what they're saying.

As for a guy starting the chant "who's the bastard with the drum etc etc... These knuckle dragging morons usually wouldn't turn up at EDS games...

The plan is to get organised at these matches, get numbers involved, and hey if we do ever get into the main stadium, there will be enough of us to drown out that chant... and anyway me knowing chants-the guy will shout it once, all his mates will continue the chant... after 2mins they are all out of breath and back to moaning about shit atmosphere.
They can stick their stone island badges up their asses.

Saw her with her little note book. Feel sorry for you guys near the front. You cop for all the shite when it comes to tackling Showsec over the sit down argument.

Good luck with the drum mate. P.s. Don't worry, you weren't on the big screen. (at least I don't think you were!)

Absolutely pissed myself laughing at those 'this is a movement' type comments.

You're a little gaggle of teenage dweebs on an Internet forum. The atmosphere at city has got nothing to do with you. Drop this now because you're making fools of yourselves.

Dave, why is age an issue? because of one's age they have no right to a voice on an issue which they feel passionate about?

I'm not a teenage dweeb on an internet forum btw, just looking at ways to improve the atmosphere...

Compared to many other stadiums over here our atmosphere is good, but just because something is good doesn't mean we can just sit back and not improve.

If we can get this working then great, something else for you to moan about.

Why don't you create your own group.. The AFB (Arms Folded Brigade)
Where you follow us around all the time, shouting obscenities and making comments about how you're so concerned about what the other Dave that stole your name the other week is thinking.

Why the attitude? If they give it a go at the eds game and it fails then fair enough, if it works and it improves the match day atmosphere by giving a bit more noise and sees songs spread around the ground what harm has it done to you?

The only one embarrassing themselves, in this thread, is you. Who are you to tell people what they can and can't do?

I knew it would get a lot of stick, but I didn't realise people felt so strongly about keeping our shit atmosphere. It's not just you Dave but if people are happy with what we've got now then that's fine but let's not try and put people off who are only trying to improve it.

I don't see what the problem is in people wanting to create a decent atmosphere. Stay out of it if you arn't interested and let the people who are up for it get on with it.

...

And I arn't a teenage dweeb.
