Front page quotes ridiculing Mancini for comparing City to Barcelona and Madrid before the Napoli game.

And compiles a list of players in the City with Champions League experience in an attempt to undermines Mancini's explanation that City will learn from the experience

They include Kolo Toure, Owen Hargreaves,, Tevez and Bridge who have about 150 appearances between them.

You'd think City were in crisis, not Chelsea or even Utd who have struggled in a very weak group. What's it going to be like when City lose in the Premiership?

At least we are news.

David Conn's online article is not that bad before his best mates pass comment. It's the front page photo of mancini and the mocking comparison to Barcelona (plus accompanying table with CL appearances) that are the problem.

Buy The Times then, and get a balanced, intelligent, truthful and far more informative view of the world................there, that was easy wasn't it?

I don't buy the Guardian. Saw it in the supermarket. A front-page piss-take which stood out a mile

In fairness,we are still a fair way behind Barca,in my opinion.
So is everybody else.
I get the Guardian - it's the only paper for muesli-knitting do-gooders like me.
To stop buying a paper just because they indirectly criticize my football club is a bit of an overreaction.
You buy it then, and take a look at the front page of the Sport, and I guarantee you wont think it money well spent

Compare the footballing analysis in there to the analysis from the Liverpool fan in Anfield Index.

I have already bought and read it,mate.
I don't agree with their conclusions regarding City, but that in itself is not sufficient reason to stop buying a newspaper.
How far do you want to take your boycott of all media that criticise us?
You would never watch Match Of The Day,or Sky Sports,or listen to Talkshite,or buy any daily paper whatsoever, because they all do it.
But by all means live in your media-free bubble,if it makes you happy.

Laughable really - I think it's to try and give comfort to the old top four.

And did you see that detailed analysis on SSN last night - Stewart Robson, ex arsenal and former world class midfielder - NOT - dissecting 3 or 4 goals we'd conceded this season to demonstrate how Liverpool can get at City. Not sure if the great unwashed British public are clever enough to realise that we still have just about the best defence in the league and can annihilate any other team's defence - home or away.

Ah well - not to worry - 3 points in the bag tomorrow lads. Bring it on.

Personally I would rather have it that way than read the Guardian.
