i can't forget his stupid mistake against QPR last year
that was the mistake after which he was over for mancini as the first team player
Nastasic plays better, he is young and has enough talent to progress
also we have rekik, one of the best academy products for last 4-5 years.

It never ceases to amaze how no one remembers kompany's mistake in the same game defenders make mistakes just like any other player on the pitch its how many they make that counts and Kompany and Lescott don't make that many,that said nastic ain't making many either if i was Mancini i'd do horses for courses Lescott would be in for the Stoke and Watford games.

Exactly.

I think actually Nastasic would do well against Stokes bullies, especially as we are at home, but I'd start Lescott too for those games, in particular on Tuesday.

Is that the Kolo who has been great this season?

Or the Joleon who has been a great player for us over three seasons and is now a back-up to a great young player; an excellent back up to have, might I add.

Why the hell would we sell our back ups? Who do you want on the bench? Someone like Savic?

When Vinnie was injured last season, i thought Lescott would step up but he was poor and didnt help an inexperienced player like Savic at all..

He is good in the air but thats about it..

I dont see how we can afford to let him go before the end of the season. Kolo is away at ACON so if lescott goes in Jan then we have no cover if kompany or nasty get injured.

He might take the AJ approach and given his age may be content to be a first teamer back at Everton or whoever but he will not be a shoe in start there either with Distin and Jaga etc but will get more game time for sure.

I don't think we are considering letting him go at all and he should start against Stoke and Watford for sure but for reasons we don't know he may not be in Mancini's good books.

Natastic has played 90 mins of every single game (except Everton at home where he was an unused sub and only 56 mins v Spurs) including internationals since Swansea at home. The boy could do with a rest in the coming weeks and with Kolo away for a month that leaves Kompany and Rekik if Lescott goes.

There is no way he is going, in the summer maybe.

Our defence is better with lescott in it, simple.

Also, why not forget his mistake against qpr? He didn't mean it, and gave his all not just in that match , but in all matches.

Judging by your poor English, I assume your foreign? How long have you supported city?

I have no doubt nobody at City wants Lescott to go.

He has been and continues to be a valued member of the squad on and off the field.

If Lescott wants to go either in January or in the summer like everybody we will not stand in his way but the right deal needs to be struck.

I could understand if he wants to leave and we need to respect his wishes but unless he has done something that Mancini won't tolerate I fail to see the logic in letting him go in January.

The fact he is getting on the bench most weeks and started the odd game suggests to me at present RM has a preference for two other centre backs and I stress at present.

I think Lescott has the smarts to understand that.

Its not so much what he is doing wrong its more what others are doing right.
