Dont Marry a Foreigner

I never realised that you had a serious side...

Hope everything goes well and that you and Mrs Mist get to spend a decent amount of quality time with the family.

Personally, I dread the thought of my kids producing grandchildren as they live about 200 miles away. I don't think I could handle Australia.

I very rarely let anyone see my serious side. It only comes out when I'm telling @Mckenzie I love her

Sometimes you get a post and no matter how hard you try you have to just admit it's a shit situation.

I can only hope you win the lottery and can fly to the other side of the world as much and as long as you like.

Cheers Hilts. I know they have a great life in Oz. I know they will grow up brilliant kids/adults but....... we still cannot call round, take them to football etc.
(It doesn't help we do not have and will not have any grandchildren in the uk....... can I borrow someone's?)

No it's not a Farage rant.. if you do marry a foreigner, live in this country, if you live elsewhere - don't have children. Please don't have children.
One of my sons travelled the world, not a problem. He met and fell in love with an aussie, again not a problem. Not even when he settled there.....
I have just had a video call with my 2 year old grandson and I am so fed up ? Upset ? Heartbroken.. yes. He is so gorgeous and growing up so fast and I'm not there. How Mrs Mist copes I don't know. I know they are brilliant parents so I shouldn't moan but I miss him so much.

I don't show my feelings normally to anyone so I've posted on here.
Just be happy they're living their best lives, mate. And who knows, they may one day return to England.

Time for a bump. My second Australian grandchild, a daughter, is due on August 4th.
It's time to get on that roller coaster again :-) :-( :-) :-(
How can you be overjoyed and yet fed up at the same time ?
She won’t be a bump yet if she’s not due till August :-) congratulations

Ohh great you can get me a pint or two (or three).
Long time mate of mine was in similar position to you, him and his wife sold up in Duke in Field and moved to Perth.

My 2nd grandchild (a girl this time) is due in 3 days. :)

It's not how things are supposed to be really, my lad has mentioned about moving abroad a couple of times and i don't say anything but I'm really thinking don't you dare I'll throttle you.
