I only go in the Angel for supporters club meetings these days mate.I think you go in the Angel from memory BBB but coincidentally I was talking to a fella in the Astley (nest the Mahal curry gaff) who has a boys and a girl over here and a lad in Perth who has his a couple of boys.
His Mrs died during Covid but since then he’s been out to Perth to visit, however, he suffered a seizure and was hospitalised, they’ve no idea what caused his seizure but because of it he won’t be going again.
Just like @Blue Mist its so sad when parents don’t get to see their grandchildren grow up, a pal of mine lives in Melbourne, he came over last year to visit his family and friends. I was taking to his Dad when they returned and he said it was bad enough waving goodbye when the family left initially when the kids were infants but after seeing them for the first time in a few years as late primary school age and with characters developing he was so upset.
I believe that someone in the little Astley is organising a minibus to City games

Baz and Don? We’ve been going for years originally from the Warrington at Cockbrook then the Sycamore. One of the lads who comes with us Andy now had the Astley with his wife Cheryl who runs the place.I think a couple of my mates are going to be booking on that
Sycamore - Guimess and Moretti , £5.60, Bitter £4
Astley - Guiness and Moretti £3.60, bitter £3.20.
Plus it’s cheaper before 5pm on weekdays.
