Been told today we are in for Daniel Agger, he is annoyed that Liverpool have still not offered him a new contract, he wants to stay in the north and we have "turned his head" expect some movement by the end of the week.

WUM

Injuries and the fine form of fellow centre-back Martin Skrtel again restricted Agger's pitch time in 2008-09 but his importance to the Rafalution was illustrated when he agreed a new deal to stay at Anfield until 2014

Bwahaha! FAIL!

Alera - wenger has never stated he wants Toure to leave. Its Toure who is pushing to go.

Nedum is a very good prospect but he is certainly not top 4 std yet.

He would not get in the team before Toure or lescott IMO. What he will do is continue to get games and gain some very good experience for when he is ready. Why do you think the likes of Tottenham / Sunderland are after Dunnie not Nedum.

One of the challenges MH will face is keeping the players who are on the bench happy.

Supporting City in Rag infested Surrey isn't easy. Take it from me.
I, however, don't make up sh*t to post on here, unlike my southern colleague.

If we got toure and lescott where would they play cos i wouldnt drop onuoha and kompany maybe try onuoha at right back with kompany and toure in the centre with lescott at left back. Still then we got richards, zabaleta, bridge and most importantly berti sitting around.

all good problems to have, we need options, IMO if both lescott and toure came they'd probably start out both as CB, ned has been amazing but is still very young so we can probably keep him happy knowing he's 1 mistake away from getting back in, but say bridge doesn't have a great start then maybe you put lescott out to LB.also depends who were playing, if were playing a quality side having ned and toure CB with lescott LB sounds alot more solid, then in a more open game where were more free to express ourselves then bridge will play, all that is just IMO tho

I've missed a lot of this thread. Someone may have already asked. But was the messanger shot in the end?
