Thx at all for your nice welcome and the wonderful suggestions, where we can spend the day.
I'm going to sleep now because the next 3 days will be "interesting".
Can't wait to meet some Citizens, watch an awesome match and to meet you again in Dortmund.

All the best!

Have to say I'm really looking forward to this one, love European nights with big away followings. Hope you enjoy our city wilfredo09.

Hi wilfredo09,

I hope you guy's have a great time here and i just wanted to suggest you post on your forums some bars you could ask city fans to take you to or you yourselves go to.

As i love German beer :) i feel ashamed you won't get to taste some of our best stuff as most bars sell crap.
We do however have a bar on Peter street called "Brewdog" that specializes in quality select beer and lager and i highly recommend it.

Also "shambles square" has a good real ale pub and on the back of Piccadilly there is the "Crown and Anchor" (cask ales).

A few more are around if anyone would like to make some decent recommendations.

Marble Arch sells Erdinger - best beer in the world. We need to move and rebuild this pub in town a la Shambles. If anyone wants to go its around half a mile out of town on the Rochdale Road.

Reading that article, where is their sense of adventure? Good fans sure but why do they all have to go in the same pubs?

It's a real bugbear of mine with our fans too, why go in these designated pubs when you can a wander and go in lots of different pubs and get served quickly as well?

Escorted to the ground at 5pm and if you don't, you may miss the game? Haha, no chance, it's a 30 minute walk at most from Picadilly Gardens.

Dortmund fans not wearing colours might want to try the Port Street Beer House too - loads of beers from around the world.
