Unhappy with the first game in Manchester. Here my garden one mile away from the Westfalenstadion. Snow, tempest or earthquake could help. Or a miracle. Such a poor performance against Frankfurt. Nevertheless looking forward to the game. IMG_20210405_204202.jpg

Wouldn’t be surprised if we play without a striker tomorrow.

Ederson
Cancelo
Stones
Dias
Zinchenko
Rodri
Gundogan
Bernardo
De Bruyne
Foden
Sterling
That’s the exact lineup I went with too

Chose the same line up apart from Mahrez in for Sterling , FFS has been in better form for a while now but apart from that loads of pace and energy in that side.

I'm expecting them to test our defence but we have to have faith on our showing thus far this season in all competitions. Come on City!

Bernardo definitely trained.

After not having any City game for over two weeks, we now already have another one tomorrow and I haven't even caught up on the MotD highlights of the last one yet (out of habit watch those recorded as that's always with different commentary and analysis) ... bloody hell, I also need to do a Pre-Match write up for the next one ...

Predicting a pen line up is difficult but I can tell you 100% that mr whippy will start

I'd go with Laporte rather than Stones just because Stones might not have got that England incident out of his head yet.

A doubt in my mind is whether we go with a central striker or whether we use Foden or KDB in that central role. I think I'd go with Jesus. He looked very sharp against Leicester.

Your write ups are of very high standard!

Kind of want KDB in the Midfield position as he was incredible there against Leciester and can show his playmaking skills more than he would in false 9 imo but that would mean dropping one of Gundogan or Bernardo Arguably so it's an hard decision

I'm surprised how many people aren't including Laporte in their line-ups. He was superb in the last two games against Everton and Leicester and I think it'd be pretty harsh to leave him out of this.

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Laporte
Cancelo
Rodri
Bernardo
Gundogan
Mahrez
Foden
De Bruyne

What the win showed us against Leicester is that the XI only matters so much. Whoever plays, the general theme is often the same. What's really important is that the players picked are the physically and mentally sharpest available for whatever specific tactics Pep wants to run with.
