When do we get the first rumours from people in the know that Pep’s been on the Vino again pre match picking his team?...
 
First 10 minutes are most crucial, I was a bit worried before second leg vs Gladbach but the first 10 minutes convinced me we were going through. Setting the tempo of the game, not giving the ball away and finding De Bruyne, Foden and Mahrez/Sterling in good positions is key.

Imo, Jesus doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone. He is a world class player in his own right. As I said at the weekend his contribution to our team is much more than the goals he scores although his scoring record is pretty impressive. With Jesus in the lineup Pep is able to set us up without a “striker” which has worked pretty well so far. Many people think we won’t go a recognised striker to replace Sergio because thats not the way Pep wants to set the team up.
 
I still remember the first time we played them at the Etihad and they absolutely bossed it for 90 minutes with probably the best football I had seen from a visiting side, ever. They were crazy good.

Thankfully a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then! And we are miles better and them miles worse than back then.

Agreed. Best performance by a visiting team against us at the Etihad. They were incredible.
 
Gonna crack open first beer now. Can’t wait for tonight got a really good feeling about tonight’s game (last time I felt this positive before a game was before the United game mind)

I think that won't be far off. I think Sterling might play over Mahrez tho
