Hallo from Germany!

I´m a supporter from Dortmund and i´m going to come to Manchester for the match against Dortmund.

I´ve just booked my flight to Birmingham and have got some questions to people living in Manchester now.

Im going to travel from Birmingham Airport to Manchester by bus and atm i´m searching for the right route.
I want to book the trip at <a class="postlink" href="http://www.nationalexpress.com/home.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.nationalexpress.com/home.aspx</a> but i don´t know which bus stop i should choose in Manchester?
Which one is the closest to Ethiad Stadium?
MANCHESTER (Coach Station)
Manchester, Gt Bridgewater St
Manchester, Princess Road
Manchester, Stretford
City of Manchester Stadium
MEN Arena, Manchester

Can you please help me with that?
Im going to travel back to Birmingham right after the match at 23.59 O´Clock.
How can i get quickly to the bus station after the match?

Thanks for your help and greetings from Germany!

<a class="postlink" href="https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Manchester+City+FC,+Manchester&daddr=Chorlton+Street,+Manchester&hl=en&ll=53.479465,-2.217007&spn=0.017239,0.052314&sll=53.48062,-2.2179&sspn=0.017239,0.052314&geocode=FQYWMAMdTG3e_yH05TYSnkjsHCnjCpXMDbF7SDH05TYSnkjsHA%3BFVQBMAMdceDd_ylNnMlhlbF7SDGgA4T7u6xsew&oq=Cho&dirflg=w&mra=ltm&t=m&z=15" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Ma ... m&t=m&z=15</a>

dortmund supporters are trying to buy out the south stand.

here's what i found in a german forum: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bvb-forum.de/index.php?mode=thread&id=537333&entry=539533#p539533" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bvb-forum.de/index.php?mode= ... 33#p539533</a>

City have noticed the error and, as the posts on that forum suggest, have cancelled the tickets bought by Borussia fans. That's why we can't buy tickets online today whilst they fix loop that let you by tickets without a supporter number or previous purchase history.

according to their forum they are still getting tickets

Much of it seems to be Internet posterising as the blocks they're claiming to be buying in sold out almost immediately as they're populated by season card holders. No doubt some tickets have been bought, however even if they've been bought with a uk address thy won't be able to get to their seats as checks are performed before entering the stadium and then again before entering the block.

i don't think so mate. their supporters are famous for traveling in huge numbers. apparently 13000 in paris, i know they had lots of supporters at the emirates last season too. they have the most loyal fans in germany, can't be compared to a club like bayern that we had last year.

seems like they've found a way to trick the system. look at these maps they posted. that looks rather organised, doesn't it. well, what do you expect? they're germans.

I don't doubt, I used to live there, however the posts in the last couple of days claiming to buy tickets in 110 & 111 is nonsense as i) city took the online ticket system down at that time and ii) those blocks had already sold out. There may be a small number of Dortmund fans that have purchased tickets in other areas of the stadium but, as posters have pointed out on there, city have already began to contact those that purchased tickets with German postal addresses.

The talk of turning 109 through to 119 into a Dortmund zone, as several posters claimed on that forum is also very misguided given that these blocks are almost exclusively season ticket holders with the vast majority being on the European cup scheme. In reality only a small amount of tickets in these blocks went on open sale.

I bought tickets on Genral Sale, too. Right next to the sector for away fans like most Dortmund fans did. The problem is, that there are just about 2000 official tickets for away fans and that´s not enough for us :D

City knew about that and so they opened up the genral sale just for customers with a purchase history. First some of us (like me) bought a cheap ticket for City against Aston Villa for just 5 Pounds, but then they said that all matches that were on sale at that moment didn´s count. But we still tried to buy and finally it worked with a little trick over a direct link to the ticket shop.
But later they recognized and stopped it.

I don´t know why english police is so afraid of us, we won´t make any trouble.
Just ask London.

However, now we all hope that they won´t cancel our orders.
But it seems like they won´t do that.

I need the tickets, already booked flight and bus trip :D

I also bought 4 tickets for Block 111 (I'm wondering a bit why someone here said that those aren't available. When I bought them, there were _lots_ of seats in green on the ticket site) and have already received them (used an English address though), I do know from a few other persons who did the same that they also got their tickets. I don't really get the Police concerns either, Dortmund's fans haven't exactly been trouble makers in the past. From what I know, City will send tickets to Germany too, so it looks like there will be lots of Dortmund supporters in blocks like 110, 111 and 116.

I've been to a City game vs Sunderland a few years ago, really liked the stadium and I'm looking forward to the game.

Just received the bad message, that my order got cancelled.

Now i´ve got a big problem.
Flight and everything else is booked, but now ticket for the match.

Would maybe any city fan of you please be so kind and buy a ticket next to the sector for away fans for me? I would pay for it of course before you buy it and i would give u even 20 Pounds more than the ticket price is as a special Thank You for buying me a ticket.

So bad.. really want to visit the match.
Getting tickets for away sector is nearly impossible. 2000 tickets for 10.000? orders?..

Or does anybody have got another idea how i could get tickets?
