hi there. now last season as we all know, our defence was far from perfect... take out zab and ned (and vinnie when he played cb) it was bloody well awful. but we all seem to be able to give micah benefit of the doubt "oh well he will be back next season" and people saying he is superior to zab (bullshit). but yet when it comes to dunne, who had had FOUR good seasons to micah's one, we are all "bye bye dunney" "no time for sentiment, he must go", and a similair case with bridge "not good enough" "need a better LB". just screams double standards! if we got offered 15m or up for micah id rip their fookin hand off!

Think it's the age thing, ie he has it on his side Dunne doesn't.

Its always been the case mate. Football fans are human and at times humans are morons.

Yep, Micah is young and has bags of potential. Dunney isn't and hasn't. Simple

ok so chargin forward and then walking back leaving all our defence to get raped is potential?

Yeah, Micah's got a wealth of potential on his side. Whereas with Dunne we know exactly what we'll get: a couple of solid games followed by a spectacular own goal/sending off/foul to give away a penalty.

The difference is that Micah is much younger than Dunne and imo has a big future ahead of him.

However I agree with you on the point about Bridge. He hasn't been given a fair chance and I think that this season he will show that he is good enough.

people are clearly deluded about micah.... ill trust capello's judgement that he picked the uglier chuckle ahead of him

I don't think anyone is blind to his shotcomings mate, and I pretty sure no one will defend his proformances last season, but hes young and has many attributes that may turn him into a great player.
