No idea yet. The application was rejected last year, with one reason being the low number of games he had played in La Liga; he only managed a total of 15 games in 17-18 and only one of those was a start. This season, he already has 15 appearances, so he should make far more in total, and quite a few have been starts. Oddly enough, by this stage last season he’d made 13 but then never featured at all, so it is to be hoped he can get another run together henceforward. Just know the goalposts will be shifted, though.

It really is six of one, half a dozen of the other — after all, he’s no Bebe-level talent.

They made Penaranda wait too. So I think he gets it next window
 
Didn't watch the game .. but by all accounts had a great outing....

If he carries this form and doesn't have work permit issues , possibly be in the squad next year ?
 
Lets hope he will be more confident after playing well against Madrid, be picked for Brazil to play Copa America this summer so he can get a work permit.
