i always ask myself why is the press and sky so anti gary cooke,must be because they want him to fail,i think some on here want that as well,pity really some on here can,t get behind him and back the club as well?

You fully well know Garry and co read this forum. I dont think he will be too happy with you attention seeking on here telling stories of when you met.

Give it a rest, ive spoke to garry one to one before but I have never tittle tattled on a forum because i dont think its right, no matter what he may tell you.

I think it tells a lot about the person who writes away on a football forum for the masses to see.

I'm sorry you see it as "tittle tattle." I was trying to bring some direct, relevant information and some personal opinion. To me, that's the point of a Football Forum.

And it was magic at the Fulham game today.... We out sang them all day long!

We have blind faith and devotion in our club not it's paid representatives so it's silly to suggest that criticising Cook equates to criticising City; I certainly don't want him to fail, I just wish he'd keep a lower profile.

The situation that AustinBlue describes certainly seems innocuous enough but it is only one in a long line of stories regarding Cook holding forth, some of which have proven rather embarrassing.

Anyway, great win today so let's just agree to disagree and enjoy the evening.

Is it appropriate that Garry Cook discusses City's business plan with strangers in bars? This is the second or third story I've read along similar lines and it seems rather disturbing that he's so free and easy with information.

I realise that he wont be passing on state secrets and I'm sure he's 'on message' but it seems a little odd to me that he chooses hotel bars as his preferred outlet for information distribution. You'd have thought after the New York fiasco he'd have learned to be a little more discrete?
