I spotted it in the first half, it was hovering over the CB stand, pretty high, just assumed it was City or media flying it, disappeared from view after a couple of minutes. I did think if someone wanted to do something bad, this would be quite a clever idea, and before anyone has really given it enough thought.

I suspect (hope) now its happened at high profile games, the security people will be on to it and watching out for it at big gatherings pf people. I wasn't aware you needed a licence to fly one of these, I guess it must be over a certain altitude. Around a football stadium there are often police helicopters, and one of these mixing with a helicopter near a big crowd could get very messy, I know there wasn't one this weekend but that's not the point, and the person flying it wouldn't necessarily have known.
Rags are stuck outside the away end for a while in two weeks. Eggs. Drones(not that ****). Drop.

I think we need to embrace them.
Why don't you want to drop him, would make a splash :)

These things can go far. If the one he used was a Dji Phantom they are excellent and for a few hundred quid a go pro gives amazing shots.

I was going to invest in this - I'm a videographer and photographer and was going to offer aerial shots as a thing but to do it properly was not cost effective and its s nightmare to get an official licence.

The civil aviation authority are clamping down. Even if he had the licence he wouldn't be allowed to fly over the stadium. They have strict rules about how close you can go with over 50 people in one place. No chance of getting clearance for a stadium that's full.

He will be prosecuted if anything to use him as an example.
