Drunk driver who killed bride on wedding day.

At least the drunk driver got a proper sentence.
And her own life ruined.

I just can’t fathom that. The day their married lives start together, that happens during the celebrations. That poor man and her family.

As you say though, a proper sentence. A slap in the wrists over here, relatively speaking.

Well yeah, the US are pretty harsh on dangerous driving, unless it happens to be the wife of a diplomat killing someone overseas, in which case they'll just sweep it under the carpet and pretend nothing happened.

That is unusual for a drunk driver. Well done judge.

Edit: didn't realise it's US, not here. Would be a daft sentence here..

The max. sentence for causing death by dangerous driving in England was increased from 14 years to life, a couple of years ago.

I’ve not seen any stats. to see if sentences have increased during that period though.

I was not aware of that. Thanks

And her own life ruined.

I really don't care about her life coz she got pissed and drove so she didn't care about her own life nor anyone else's - actions have consequences and yes her life was ruined but she killed a bride on her wedding day so frankly I couldn't give a shite about the drivers life being ruined
