Only smart phones I've had are the iphone 5 and samsung galaxy s3. Both good phones but s3 edges it. Android has a few more benefits over ios. Also much easier and cheaper to replace a samsung phone if it's stolen/lost/broken.

Just bought a Motorola moto g from phones 4 u £110 sim free .more than happy with it .faster than an I phone apparently as its quad processor. If you buy a pay as you go from phones 4 u they come unlocked

Best thing I ever did was get rid of my iPhone. Replaced it with a nexus 4 and its the dogs bollocks

Going to get the nexus 5 soon.

Sim only, and just buy the phone outright. Much better and far cheaper

The problem with doing that is that you tend to go through shower gel at a horrid rate. So I'm told.

I currently have an I-phone 4s which has served me fairly well.

My contract is up now so i am due an upgrade. I'm basically looking at the Samsung Galaxy 5, the I-Phone 5s, the Sony Xperia Z2 and the HTC One m8.

My other option is just to cancel and buy a sim for £12.99 which would give me 'all i can eat' data, 5000 texts and 200 minutes, which would suit me fine, but i'd be stuck with the 4s, which in truth, is doing my head in a bit now due to the battery being a bit naff.

So any ideas on what upgrade to go for?

Go dor the sim if its just the battery that annoys you. Then go on amazon and buy a portable charger. Gives you a full charge and I got one for around 20 quid

Not really a fan of iphones but I'd recommend a samsung galaxy, ive had the s1 s2 and s4 and all have been good. I have had an iphone and have an ipod touch for my docking station but apart from using it for facetime I much prefer android. HTC make some cracking phones as well and are worth checking out.
