Dundee, July 13th - shocking match report (page 36)

Re: Dundee, July 13th - Game on OS 4pm (P6)

More important than world cup, to see MCFC on the road again, get some fitness into the lads and hope Jovetic benefits from a full pre season.

Maybe Jon'll show he's still can play football to those who would probably like to buy him

I'd prefer him to prove he's got the skills to continue being a player for us : (

Me too, but it's not very realistic -

1. we got a very conservative coach, whose decisions about those who play are far from the quality of their performance, training, etc.

2. we already got 4 good strikers. He'll have to play like hell knows who to prove he's better than even Dzeko (he's very distable)

3.Guidetti had been with the squad since Manuel arrived and till the january, and, although had a couple of benches, didn't play a single match even in League Cup

4. His contract expires in the next June, and in the conditions of FFP City are more likely to sell him

5.He had a very unlucky period with some terrible injuries, and, even though he managed to get back or something (some benches, u21 games for City and Sweden, and finally, some minutes for Stoke), it'll be very hard for him to really return ti his level

6.Could you name anybody who recovered from such injuries and was back at his level and even better? Maybe you do, but it's much harder to remember a City's grown player, especially the one who has been loaned out, returning to the 1st team. I don't remember the one.

7. Now it's especially harder for Guidetti to return due to our ambitions, he's more likely to leave, like 100% of our other youngsters

8.In Stoke, he didn't play a single match in starting XI. Was it due to the coach's desicions or Guidetti's form and physical capabilities?

On the other hand, he's still young, he seemed to recover from these injuries and haven't give up, still scoring goals, he had still been in EPL clubs last season and hadn't been immediately loaned out, released or been playing only for EDS - he had been given some credits from Pellegrini
