Those sort after City v Liverpool tickets should be going to Children who are genuine City fans, and who are paid up Junior members

This is the guff the directors are putting out on the OS website.

A Man City Junior Cityzen Membership costs £20 and offers benefits like priority access to tickets, £5 off Premier League match tickets, a 10% club shop discount, access to exclusive member events, a free City Stadium Tour pass, mascot opportunities for young fans, and eligibility for junior-only competitions and content.This membership is for ages 0-17 and provides a way for young fans to get closer to the club, with benefits similar to the Matchday Membership but tailored for a younger audience.

It’s just another example of the Directors putting money and revenue first over genuine City fans. Even Children.

The fucking piss take is that the tickets are price so high that we need official touts to shift them as local fans can't afford them.

Could you imagine any other business where you make customers jump through hoops to attend, price them out if they ignore those hoops and then do shit like put cameras on the turnstiles explaining that they'll never be used.

But Tim be fair and accurate. Those fans aren’t paying for any legal action. Here’s the link the cost of looking over the situation at City and the letter that was sent to the club was paid for by an inequality charity - called Law For Change. That’s stated clearly on the Leigh Day press release (see below).

I’m all for cheaper tickets for Blues. I wouldn’t mind the junior / match day membership requirement if it was a tenner for juniors and £20 for adults.

Thanks mate for correcting me.it’s a difficult one cos change might not happen without potentilegal action, even though I’m not in favour of it.

I have just been enrolling a young family into the Harrogate Branch this morning. The demand for tickets is still there amongst the younger families but they struggle to get tickets, even with match day and junior memberships. I struggle to get 3 tickets together for them (even with the memberships) never mind 45 tickets. They aren’t bothered if we are playing Liverpool or Wolves but it’s wrong that the group booking function is effectively triaging fans for high demand games to the detriment of genuine Blues

I’m not sure mate and I know it has worked well
For champs league groups games in the past that hasn’t sold out. A mate has taken a coachload from his school in Leeds to a few of those games and the kids have loved it.

We know you are close to Kevin (Parker) but he is your OSC rep on Citymatters, surely all branches feed into the club / Citymatters via this channel ? You can always ask for club to help real fans more and have questions put on the record at meetings so they have to answer.

That's not the first time either Ive had little or no interest. When people do ask how much and I say its my season ticket divided by 19 games which is just less than £50 and cheaper than buying direct most people don't bother. They all want them much cheaper. I get football is expensive but Indo wonder about filling up this new stand. As for the Dundee kids I'd wager money on it the teachers that bring them down have all probably said in conversations that City are guilty as f**k on the 115 charges but will be happy for the chance to come and see us.

You could buy Burnley adult £38 last week as a ST holder.

The problem with that is that games like Burnley are cheaper through City than 1/19 of your ST. There was a ticket listed on BM for £60 yet the same seat through City was £48.

Ok I understand that but on this occasion I offered 3 tickets sat together at £40 each so still £8 cheaper per ticket and only £2 more expensive than Corky mentioned if a season ticket holder bought them. And getting 3 together I would hazard a guess would have been even more difficult to find. Nobody even said look mate i'll give you £20/30 each. Just nothing not one response. And it's happened plenty of times over our successful period. I just don't believe we have 50,000 fans desperatley seeking City.

City v Liverpool should not be going to any schools in Scotland or Manchester.

It should be fans with history of attendance. Not kids that have not been to a game. Let them attend City v Bournemouth.

The Scottish school will no doubt be mainly Liverpool fans. And no doubt some genius at City will place them in the Northstand right in view of the cameras.

Yet another example of our club stolen away from us.
