he is still the same player he was with us, sure most of the time he will throw himself to ground and get a block on a shot but i seen myself tonight he is still slicing his clearances up into the air

He is playing well at the moment in a team full of confidence but he still makes the same mistakes he did with us and the difference , at the mo , is they are not leading to goals. My bet is that will change

Right move for the player. He had a bad season last year.

Maybe he's playing well now because he feels wanted and respected at his club.

Must say I wouldn't be comfortable with him defending one on one in City's gung-ho team. he has a much easier time at Villa who are a much more defensive outfit.
