One footed only seems to be applied to left footed players. Many players can only use their right foot and that is rarely mentioned. Some players (McTominay) are useless with both.
Beat me to it TC.
As a leftie myself I find it bizarre that it only applies to us.
Maybe it’s because we are the one in ten and it stands out more ?

A few (albeit unreliable) media sources saying he’s Tottenham bound.. fucking hope not as that would mean we are funding it by buying Harry.

Haaland>Vlahovic>>>>>>!!!!>>>>Kane

Forget his goals for England the other night.. we should be looking at the two youngsters here.

As a fellow footballing southpaw, it is because the majority are jealous of our wonderful ability. Whoever heard of a commentator or pundit praising a player for their “sweet right foot”?
As an aside, we are really stacked with left footers in recent years. Ederson (though he is a freak of nature), Laporte, Ake, Bernardo, Foden, Mahrez, Palmer etc

Despite Mahrez's effort against Liverpool, I think left-footed players take better penalties.
Strange that because I have the complete opposite perspective, that left footers are generally worse at penalties.

All of our most reliable penalty takers in recent years have been right footed.

Anelka
Elano
Tevez
Balotelli
Yaya Touré

and the best I can think of in the PL era:

Shearer
Le Tissier
Lampard
Henry
Kane

all right footers as well.

Ha ha ! I confess I haven't studied the subject in-depth, just an impression. I think you'd have to calculate efficiency of one or the other as a percentage of the total number of penalties taken by left and right-footers. Well above my pay grade.
