I was standing in the que at the Co op in Hale Barns, and some twat was buying the earth, so I was looking around and noticed the bloke standing behind me had a City top on. I turned round and just said 'that was a good win for us today' and as I looked up, it was the man himself.

Yeah, he's a tall bloke.

Anyway, he thanked me. I think he was with his mum, who smiled at me as they left.

I was thinking it must be great to be a country when you don't know the sequence of the traffic lights, and you are being slagged off as a failure.

Give the the man a chance.

strange he still had his city shirt on.... big improvement today and a lot of that was down to the fact that tevez actually passed to him..... but i didnt see any smile from tevez when he set him up. something not right between those 2

When who set who up? For Dzekos goal Tevez stood waiting open armed for him to come. They looked fine to me.

I see some people are on this thread exclusively to blast Edin and that's fine.
But please, PLEASE, at leaste make an attempt to argument your smack-talking (if you can) with facts...otherwise your claims are as credible as fart in the winds.

Example - with all due respect (I don't dislike the guy), please don't even COMPARE Balo to Dzeko.
Dzeko has won Bundesliga.
Dzeko was Bundesliga's second leading scorer (26 goals, 0 penalty kicks) while winning the title.
Dzeko has won Bundesliga's leading scorer title the year after that.
Dzeko has already scored 10+ goals again before City bought him.

Now - tell me what the f*ck did Balo accomplish so far.
Ooo, that's right - he accomplished NOTHING! So to even imply equality or even worse, superiority (?) of Balo to Dzeko is flat out r.i.d.i.c.u.l.o.u.s.

Yes, I am a bit biased towards Edin, but will still beat any of these bashers with facts and stats only, preferences aside...cause this is getting obnoxious.

Looking better as he's getting more games under his belt. Did well yesterday, only disappointment was that he didn't go better when through one on one, but at least he scored before that. Great touch a nd through ball for Tevez too.

Balotelli has accomplished nothing?
Balotelli is 4 years younger than Dzeko but Balotelli has won:

Serie A 07/08
Serie A 08/09
Serie A 09/10

Coppa Italia 09/10

Suppercoppa italia 08

UEFA Champions League 09/10

Golden Boy trophy 10

And so far at City Balotelli has 8 goals in 13 games, Dzeko has 2 goals in 10 games.
The facts seem to be in Balotellis favour.
I'm not against Dzeko I think he'll be a good player and one we need the thing is, balotelli is miles better.

Dzeko will be fine. You can see he's a player. Good vision and some clever one touch passing. The goals will come as long as we get crosses in the box.
