Dzeko, what's his next move?

Well if that Osvaldo thread is owt to go by and the Negredo stories are correct and Dzeko ain't leaving our strikers next season are

Aguero
Dzeko
Osvaldo
Negrado.

Don't know where to fucking start to be honest.

Just can't see it. IF we sign Os and Neg then imo Dzeko is on his way.

That's really not so terrible. I think Negredo and Osvaldo could feasibly outdo Balo and Tevez's pretty poor returns over the last couple of seasons.

It is terrible. That is three players that may have different relative strengths but all play the same role. Thats why I don't se it happening. Buy Negredo or Osvaldo and sell Dzeko and buy an attacking mid that can operate on the left.

Well if we're playing a system that relies on a clinical target man it won't hurt to have a few. Dzeko / Negredo to rotate and Osvaldo as an x factor off the bench.

Neither is an x factor though and we have seen the result of 4 strikers all wanting to play.

Aguero, and of the three, Guidetti and a wide man on the left (Di Maria, Bale) and we are set.

If that's where we're going then just keep Dzeko in the team and be done with it. He's a guy who relies on confidence, he seems well conditioned and doesn't really get injured, he's the perfect front man to build the team around if he's what we want from our front man. He won't have an attitude problem unless he's treated like an idiot, which isn't having a problem so much just being human. Bring Negredo in as his backup and then bring in someone to be Agueros (someone like Jovetic).

I guess Dortmund, next summer.

Lewandowski staying this year and moving to Bayern next is official now so they'll buy Dzeko on cheap next year.

I agree with this. I have a lot of time for Txiki, but I'll definitely be very disappointed if they sanction Dzeko's sale this summer without him formally asking for a move. I'm confident Dzeko won't and they won't though ... in this case it's definitely better the devil you know than having to go out and buy two forwards to replace Carlos and Edin.

Why the rush to move Edin out............over the time he's been at MCFC he's been involved in ALL the good moments that have happened............ short memories............or selective memories..................whatever he doesn't deserve to be slaughtered on Bluemoon!

I want and hope we can see the dzeko on form from our title winning season start. All this talk about Osvaldo is making me a bit uneasy whether we will have the same problem with players throwing a hissy fit namely Dzeko? From what I have read and heard Osvaldo has attitude problem. Maybe Txi believed Pelle has the ability to manage him?

what about Guidetii? Negredo I am excited about since it will be an astute signing for us but I hope Pelle can get the best out of Dzeko because for the last two season he has been underused and badly managed by Mancini. With the proper management Dzeko would be banging the goals in like he was at wolfsburg.

I agree with you mate.... I rate Edin very highly. I'd be shocked if Pellegrini didn't want to have him in his squad. Personally think he'll flourish this season, particularly with the addition of Navas, who can actually cross a ball with some accuracy!
