Perhaps the lack of tangible interest from other clubs in England tells us it's own story? Or maybe we have let it be known we won't sell him to anyone in the prem? Like a lot of players he has had moments that we should remember in a very positive light but I really believe that the time to move on is upon us. Thanks and goodbye! For a player who has pretty much never fit into the style we play he's got a good record. I'm sure in time the memories of that god awful first touch and immense laziness at times will fade and we'll just remember some of the many key goals he's scored, the right time for him to go.

I think he's worth €20m and we should snap any clubs arm off offering that. Plus he will be off the wage bill.

Apparently Dzeko deals been agreed and he'll be leaving - will be announced in the next 48 hours I'd imagine (After personal terms have been agreed).

Roma have probably spoken to Edin's agent previously to check how much they would have to pay him and whether he'd be open to a move - there wouldn't have been any contracts signed until a deal is agreed between the two clubs.

Basically, I think it will all be a formality, but it has to be done before the transfer can be announced.

I imagine we'll get somewhere in the region of £15m with an extra few million in add ons.

FFS get what we can for him from Roma and get him off the wage bill. I really wonder if shifting him and Jovetic is a holdup on us putting bids in elsewhere. Seems like our leverage would go to exactly nil if we brought in a foreign player before unloading these two.

I think they asked and Dzeko said he wasn't interested, can't blame him on that score.

When MCFC TV were showing his 50 City goals I was gutted to think he may be on his way out. Obviously he has scored a lot of crucial, title winning goals for us but like others are saying, he also had parts to his game that were not nice to watch and, in all honesty, the time definitely feels right to let him go.
