Practically what I said. Because we have better.
Since Hughes we have been looking for a talisman up front and Aguero ascended to that role. We are now looking for a deputy and as how we tested the water then, we do so now with Bony. Time will tell if Bony ends like Dzeko or be a name feared by oppositions.
Irrespective of how poorly fit Dzeko is to our system, he is still an exceptional player. It's a bit similar like Micah and Zaba. Initially Micah was the better player at the time but as City's lineup evolved and in turn the play, Zaba became better fit, granted Micah was blighted by injuries. But so has Dzeko.
I do wonder if Dzeko would thrive in Real Madrid if given the chance, and I feel he woul be decent in such a setup, yet abyssmal in Barca.
