Reasonable fee, he's contributed a lot but obviously needs to be in the team consistently to be most effective, so doesn't really fit with the squad mentality of our club in that respect.
However, really concerned that we are letting him go without an adequate replacement. If Jovetic'ss replacement is Sterling, Milner's is Delph, why the hell are we letting another forward go and thinking of bring in another creative midfielder? Aguero WILL get injuries this season, his style of play coupled with the fact that he takes a lot of rough treatment, almost guarantees that. Bony is still settling n but I have my reservations, he's not world class imo. Kelechi looks promising but would be a lot more comfortable with the addition of a proven quality striker. But I don't think there is really one available to us on the market.
Maybe with a shift to 4-3-3 having Bony, Aguero, Kelechi and at a push Sterling in that centre striker position is not such an issue, but I'm not convinced yet.
Right, back to watching us get bummed by Stuttgart.
