Why is it a low valuation mate ? Dzeko has had not one but two poor seasons with us.The lad gets my thank you for helping us achieve something I never thought possible,but seriously £14M is a fair reflection based on the last two years.
However if you try and convince that its a low premium based on his ability for his country,then I would ask why can the idle fucker turn it on for his country but not his club ?

He only just signed a new contract 12 months ago.

He only scored 4 goals in 22 PL apps last season but then he only played 900 minutes! 0.4 goals per 90 in an injury hit season still isn't a bad return. I don't particularly rate him as a footballler but he scores goals no matter what and to get such a measly price, well... I'd keep him instead.

His goal ratio in the previous season was 0.7 goals per 90 - that's in the £30m region


Getting £25m for Dzeko and Jovetic combined (if the press is to be believed) would be an utter joke considering the state of the market

He'll be on good money and we want rid to freshen up the squad so 15mil ish is ok
He's done the business for us but has ran his course

But has has done the business and some fans who slag him off might be in for shock if they think the grass is greener - having said that, on balance I think it's best he moves on. We've had his best years

Tired of us getting our pants pulled down when we sell players.

Dzeko is easily a £20m player, easily. With the length of his contract and the state of the market at present I'd argue he's a £25m player.

A fair valuation would be between £20m and £25m.

Really fucks me off that we literally have to give players away, often for peanuts, while anytime we're in for a player we have to pay through the nose.

Only transfer out we've done well on recently was Negredo. Besides that we tend to take a hit everytime. Really frustrating.

Tevez for £10m, staggered over the length of his contract, has to be right up there.
