Imagine if we managed to seal the deal for Dzeko last Jan instead of settling for Giroud.

A striker like Dzeko in this team, who can do the link up stuff Giroud gets so much love for, plus score 25 goals himself. I think we would have been set for a great title challenge.

Never got the recognition he deserved IMO but a great striker. To think at one point we had Sergio, Edin, Mario, and Carlitos on the books.

I Liked Edin and Mario but those two had quite a few games where they could have tried a lot harder than what they did.
Especially in their last season with us.

I don’t think Edin could ever be accused of not trying. He just wasn’t always the best at executing what he was supposed to do.

However, I do agree that Mario, as much as I loved him, was a lazy bastard.
