This will never be passed...just a face saving excercise. If e-cigs are classed as medicinal then so are cigarettes...Legal challenge will win comfortably.

utter garbage!

Not only will they be licensed, they'll be taxed.

we all now what this is all about-the revenue
if 1.3 million are now on e cigs and smoked 20 cigs a day that is a tax income loss of around 6 million pounds per day (thats based on £5 per packet tax) thats a lot of money over a year and thats without any more people converting to the e cig, so where is all the bollox about our health, their simply after one thing TAX and in the end your e juice will be as dear as a box of fags

This i think is right, certain brands of e juice will be medicinal like patches and those sprays and chewing gum, lozenges etc and they will be subject to prescription and the associated charges . The other will be fully licensed for over the counter or on line made by one of the big tobacco companies will cost the same or more than analogues (ordinary ciggies).with the associated tax revenue collected, time to stock up folks .

Just visited my local e-cig shop and the guy in there reckons it won't affect him. This move is to standardize the ingredients as some of the cheaper fluids on the market have been found to contain anti freeze (according to him).
I suppose regulating the production of fluid under licence isn't a bad thing however this would probably put a stop to making your own fluid.
If it's sold as a prescription medicine with limited strength that's a different kettle of fish!

I tried those they sell at Tescos 10Motives Menthol theyre called. Afetr a while they left me with a dry throat, as anyone else experienced any side effects?

It is well known that propolene glycol can have a throat drying effect and that vaping is more dehydrating than smoking. just up your fluid intake a bit. also there is a phenomena called vapers tongue which means you suddenly stop being able to taste the different flavours ,if you get it , it is is easily sorted by rotating flavours every once in a while. i usually have a couple of diff flavours which i rotate throughout the day.
