Just stop your addiction to nicotine. Its easy. No cravings other than psychological after two or three days.

Don't believe the hype...unless you want to.

If you are trying to give up ciggies whilst getting stoned you are kidding yourself too.
Good point it's as easy as fuck, it's not even addictive

I smoked 20 to 30 a day for 15yrs. Then smoked 5 or 10 a day whilst chewing nicotine gum, sticking patches on myself or dissolving little nicotine tabs on my tongue.

I then read a couple of books and did a little research on the cycle of addiction.

I quit a short while later.

Ten years later I smoked for 8 or 9 months.

I quit a short while later.
I've been doing more like 40 to 60 a day for 30 odd years it saves me money and my chest feels better, still smoke in the pub but beer and fags just work

I've had a lot of trouble with coils not working lately. Getting through them at an alarming rate. It would probably be cheaper to start smoking again.

Not addictive?

I wish I lived in fairy land too.

Nothing worse than a reformed smoker preaching. I should know because I stopped smoking for ten years, I started again when I quit drinking for a couple of years. I started to have the odd spliff and that got me back on the baccy.
I quit again, and then the lad moved back home every time we went to the pub I ended up having a smoke with him.
This time I'm using an e-cig. I may pack in again in the future, but I'll wait until he moves out again.

DC X Tank

I've just switch suppliers. I was getting through 3 or 4 coils a week at £2 a pop. Sometimes they'd only last a day or not even work at all. The bloke at the shop was being a wanker about it so I've gone somewhere else. So far this one seems to be working ok.

There's no telling some people, I'm planning to get rid of my drug, alcohol, nicotine and sex addictions, just not right now:)

You should learn to read my friend, I in no way said it was not addictive. After 2 to 3 days (at most a week) the physical dependency has gone. This is not only my experience but also medical fact. After this time the triggers are psychological. Whether it be somehow not enjoying coffee or alcohol or missing a ciggy after sex. These are triggers and are psychological and are not physical dependency.

The tobacco industry love people who continue the myth that nicotine is so unimaginably difficult a drug to do without. It is their strongest marketing tool. They do not have to say it themselves as health programmes and users who are not ready to quit cement that belief in peoples minds. However, hundreds of thousands of people prove that that is not the case year upon year.

Admitting you are a drug addict is the first step. If you do not wish to stop then there is nothing I nor anybody can do.

The evidence is there before you that many many thousands of people manage to stop smoking every year with no undue complications to their health.

Stop being so sensitive. I have stated some facts. That is all.

Your post just tries to justify your actions. You don't have to justify them to anybody. You are obviously free to do with your life as you wish.

It is easy to give up smoking. I said it again. You yourself said that after being a smoker you managed to do without for ten years. For whatever reason you decided to start again. It certainly was not because of a physical addiction, not after ten years. It would not have been that after ten days.
