Is anyone else of the same mindset that this fuel seems to be getting used a lot quicker than the previous grade ?
I seem to be filling up a lot more often than previous and with the high costs nowadays for fuel it's hitting the bank balance..

E10 is meant to be more eco but yep, it’s garbage for your engine.

There’s a common misconception that all fuel is the same and premium fuels are a marketing gimmick.

It’s just not true at all. Cheap supermarket fuel lacks the cleaning additives that come with premium fuels.

If you’ve got a half decent car, using good fuel, even if it’s every other tank really can make a difference to your engine.

Even more so with Diesel. Momentum/V Power diesel will keep your engine cleaner and help prevent things like DPFs clogging.

years back i had a ford Focus.if i put regular fuel in at the supermarket the engine light would come on by the time i got off the forecourt,if i put the dearer fuel in it never happened

Definitely - and depending on the batch my needle seems to be in free fall on the dashboard!

Ive stopped using supermarket fuel as its fucking shite.

As for E10....that can take a running jump too......i have two R53 Mini's and neither will be receiving that substandard, watered down, crap.

Cunts.

There is about a 33% drop in the energy ethanol produces compared to standard unleaded and it’s expected to see a decrease of about 3% in economy.

Handy for profits when prices are at a all time high

I started using the premium stuff once a month closest to payday after my mechanic recommended it, before that I thought it was a gimmick. Bit harder to justify now were about £1.50 a litre mind!
