Eagles & Steely Dan Co-Op Live Arena in May

My mates just said that 2 tickets for the floor is £909.90. Tickets at the side are a bargain at £283 each though. Excl. booking fees. Worst seats in the house at the back of the 2nd tier are £200 each.

That's from the pre sale info. He goes to a LOT of gigs and have no reason to doubt him but those prices are truly staggering.

I'll pass on those.

Just been on to pre-sale they were £143.25 or there about so I suspect the £283 was for 2 tickets. I will just stick to playing my Eagles collection on my Sonos speaker. Ridiculous price to watch a group of pensioners probably long past their best.

Can’t believe Steely Dan are playing support for anyone!
Agree ! I think this one might be down to the fact that both acts have the same manager, the inscrutable Irving Azoff. But I'm not paying 150 plus a ticket to see what is effectively the Donald Fagen band as it isn't the Dan without Walter of course, for no more than 1 hour when it was only around 60 quid 4 years ago at the Arena and Don was on for more than 2 and a half hours !

Makes you wonder who are the people paying these ridiculous prices?

It's basically a case of them saying this is the last chance if your lifetime to see these iconic bands live ... if you're in your 60s plus then it's a chance to relive your youth to some extent! But you are watching guys who are well past their best now.

I'm not anywhere near that and if the prices were acceptable I'd want to see them but I totally agree they are ridiculous.

I don't know how they sell out at these prices , way way past their peak. Assuming they do.

And obviously they'd prefer to play to a considerable number of rows of empty seats than have a full house at more reasonable prices.
Which is just weird.
