Early Doors Stage show

Really enjoyed it last night. It's a bit predictable but it's superb for fans.
They managed to get City into the script through an ad-lib, too. Just after the interval Criag Cash was doing a scene where he was depressed and having a fag. He said "This is the worst day of my life. City are 2-0 down and United are winning".

Going tomorrow, picked up 4 tickets off get me in at £47 each with all the fees, £15 over face value, spotted at 1:50am in the morning, looking forward to it.

Went last night, booked months ago and was on front row. My missus had never heard of it, but was laughing all night.

The set designers deserves a massive shout out. To make the boozer look so realistic and have the upstairs/downstairs stage and scenes was genius.

And the song at the end was a fitting finale...brilliant show.

Highly recommended (if there are any more to come).

I believe Craig is a season ticket holder at the Etihad.

John Henshaw(Ken) definitely is. Seen him at games in the past.

Cheers for the spoiler alert ;) going tonight.

No chance going to see this but would love a new series and/or this to be released on DVD.

What was said during this radio interview that mentioned a possible new series?
I saw an interview with Craig Cash where he said that the BBC refused to do a new series so they did the stage production.

Saw it a few weeks back and John Henshaw was the star for me, holds it all together so well.

I have no doubt this will transfer to the bigger stages without a problem.
Went last night and agree it will transfer to a bigger stage. Loved it, ad libs great, great set of actors. Mrs H watches Corry and the girl who plays Joan’s replacement (June) is Vicky Binns who played young Molly in Corry a few years ago. Unrecognisable made up as an older woman but she like all the others was brilliant. Can’t recommend enough, feel good factor leaves a smile on your face.

The only thing I didn’t understand is why Eddie and Joan had become Freddie and June. I could only guess that the actors had somehow copywrited their own names in case they ever wanted to become a double act. I thought it was a bit odd, it didn’t detract from the show.
