Early Leavers

Sorry to hi-jack but I can't post a new thread yet and this one comes close.
What looks really bad on TV are the empty seats during the games. I know if you buy your season ticket you can do what you want but theres almost always 20 empty seats at the front in direct view of the cameras. (There are more but these look the worst) Would you not agree that these non attenders should at least be moved to somewhere else when season tickets are renewed? I never see this at the rags and people watching who are not blues always cast it up.
It comes across even worse when it says sold out but there are empties everywhere. Not a moan just a genuine observation and question.

You're gonna have to do better than that Rag.

Go hug Van Peadofile.

Sod em....if they want to leave early and miss the only exciting thing that happened in the whole 94 minutes it's their loss.

Largely.

I have a genuine concern how my club, which I've supported for close on 50 years, is perceived. If you dont then do one as youre obviously the rag. You join this forum a week ago, post 6 times and all you can do is insult a true blue who feels the need to express a view about showing City in a good light? Sad!

How do you move a non attender?

Not 100% sure Lucky thats why I was enquiring. I assume the club has details of who season seats have been allocated to and would also have records of how many times they don't show so it might not be too difficult to offer the seats to the more loyal fans who attend every match. Obviously some others on here don't share my concern but how many City fans who cant get tickets as their 'sold out' would give their right arm to get to all the games and sit at the front never mind how it looks to others.

I think it's a genuine view/question actually... you have 6posts yourself, don't go around calling people Rags.

Don't even worry about how we're perceived, if anyone knows the stadium (people who's opinion is valid) they'll know there's two third tiers not visible to the camera that are sold out and not many empties.

if Rags wanna have a laugh about the stadium being empty then it just show's their ignorance...tells me more about them than it does our empty stadium.

There's a reason why after extensive research, the club are extending the stadium and end of the day - we're selling out.

I've left early for years.mainly because of superstition.cos every time I leave we score.so I believe sacrificing the last 5mins in order for us to get the result I've been praying for,for the other 85 mins is worth it.everyone has there own reasons, what it has to do with anyone else is beyond me,just because u stay till the end doesn't mean your a better fan!!

So we score in the last 5 minutes of every single game?

We don't - but there's been late goals at U****d last season, when we won the league, Villarreal in the CL or Gillingham '99. Loads more too.

People leaving early because they need to get off is fair enough but because they can't be bothered anymore with what they see does annoy me. I wanted to be there until the end if only to clap our Lads off after the last home match in 2012.

I understand STE but surely the lower tiers would be better filled with people rather than empty seats? On another front I have to buy hospitality to get tickets and combined with plane fares it costs a lot and that's because the normal tickets are sold out, so when I see loads of seats not being used its annoying as well.
