Early Leavers

i just dont get how a proper fan can leave early the derby was fever pitch & people still feel the need to leave anyone who left should be ashamed

On the related topic of vacated seats, put Sky on and you'll find it hard to spot an empty seat at Stamford Bridge in their season ticket zone and the same goes for many stadiums. I would like to know what ticket exchange system if any these clubs use or do their fans simply turn up more in their paid for seats?

I'm not saying I leave early every game.just when I think it might help.and that's my prerogative.so for if other people don't like it.then stiff shit.its worked on many occasion.sat being the most recent :)

Will you ever learn?

Quite agree, absolute disgrace - there may be the odd plausible excuses but those who turn up late, disappear after 35+ minutes, return half way through the second half then go about 80/ 5ish why bother?
Cos it's their choice and their fuckin life that's why!!

I left early todsy to get to the in-laws for Christmas. Is this allowed?

no, no excuses, if you ever leave early you are not a real fan and as someone said doing this you should be "ASHAMED" , fuxkin hate this thread, leave whenever you want people, as soon as Barry scored yesterday i cheered ran out got to car and was back in mobberley as my dad was still sat on manc way (in a car, not depressed) why oh why does anyone give a shit when someone else leaves the game

I left a few minutes early. I had a valid reason. Regardless, those saying early leaver are not proper fans are out of order. Those who chose not to attend at all are the ones who should have the finger pointed at them.

Got to say the early leavers annoy me too. It is a free country and people can of course do what they want but it creates a negative image for the club and at a time when we should be backing the team with 44000 screaming voices we end up with 10 minutes of "Excuse me" as the early leavers rush home to watch Ant and Dec or X factor. On Saturday every early leaver was telling the team "I don't think you will score so I am going home early". i.e. No belief in the team. That must affect the players and therefore the club. Which, again, is why it annoys me. It does matter.

It's routine, for the majority of games i leave when the board is up unless we have a chance of going for a winner, those extra 2 mins is vital for where i park as i can get away quickly or i can sit in traffic for 30 mins. I left yesterday but saw the goal at the top of the steps.

If the roads around the ground were suitable for easy getaway then the majority of people would stay, they are a mess though.

-- Sun Dec 23, 2012 8:28 pm --

It effected them to the point they scored a last min winner?
