Its easy to stop doing a job you fucking dont like, I early retired recently, every day is Saturday now
It gets on my tits when someone like Roger Waters writes songs whinging about being a hard done by rock star worth millions, welcome to the machine and all that shit, I wouldnt have minded being part of the machine, spending my days at Abbey Rd studios, touring the world etc...........****

Well this thread has certainly made my mind up !
As most of you know by now I have got Cancer. But it seems that if on the less than 50% chance I make it then I will have more money than anybody could shake a stick at ! I would have an absolutely wonderful retirement. I can't even begin to describe how jealous I have been reading every single one of the threads. I reach 54 in 83 days time; that becomes the next target for me. All that money in the bank and a nice little pension as well !

Baffles me how people worry about retirement. Think they'll get bored and all that bollocks.As soon as I can comfortably jack work in, I'm fookin gone. Iv got a loan to pay off then I'm saving like fook for an early as possible retirement. Fifty would be nice but lookin more like fifty five.
