Eating out in Manchester

Best Sunday Dinner going, book first, Kitt Riddings Farm, near Kirkby Lonsdale. Took friends the other week and they loved it. Value for money and good farm produce.

There is some truly great food out there but also there has been a rise in the number of places to be seen in, that care more about being Instagrammable than producing high quality food. The best food I've had in Manchester recently was Moroccan food on Ayres Road. I grew up in Pickford Court, and my grandad and uncle were caretakers in Pickford and Grafton, so to find such a gem back in my old stomping ground was wonderful.

Our anniversary in July. I believe El Rincon De Rafa is still there. 20 years since I last went so going to give it a try.

Not Manchester but close by. I had the best Sunday dinner of my life at a new place in Glossop called Tallow. So good I went back the next day to try the standard menu and it was amazing. Almost didn't want to share it to keep it a secret ha
