accepted.

There is a LOT of money to be made reselling tickets.

I sold a Leonard Cohen ticket on E Bay that more than paid for the two I kept.

How apt.

Don't pay their prices. End of. Guarenteed they'll be selling t-shirts outside afterwards.

that's my point peoffrey. our kid wanted to go to see noel but just the same as the stone roses gig, people who are desperate for tickets shit out whilst touts try to fleece fans.

i still want to go to the roses gig but won't be held to ransom.

My lad bought two tickets for tomorrows"Arctic Monkeys" Concert in Manchester, via E-bay.
He bought them as a "BUY NOW" for £110 and was delighted,as he was prepared to go to £100 for one ticket !!
People will pay a price for what they regard as a suitable cost for them !!

i appreciate what you're saying but in the case of your son, he bought tickets off a complete stranger on ebay for a gig he wanted to go to. i winds me up when people come on here trying to flog tickets that they know people will want to the highest bidder. that clown got banned for it the night the stone roses tickets went on sale.

Before buying off anyone from E-Bay,I closely look at their feedback and what they have sold over a period of time.
As I said my son was prepared to pay higher but the two tickets were sopld at a BUY NOW price,so he didn`t end up in a bidding war and he was delighted to have paid £55 per ticket.
I`ve no idea as to the actual initial cost price the tickets were selling for,but my son in his words "got a bargain"

Perhaps it's why I've never succeeded in business but, if I had a spare ticket, then it'd go for the price I paid for it. Out of principle, I wouldn't accept a nearest offer because I'm selling at face value. Many don't. Use Gumtree, Scarlet Mist or a forum dedicated to the performer and you should get no problems at the true price.

I want to see The Stone Roses too because I never have but I'm prepared to wait until I can get a ticket. If the price was £55 then who knows what Touts are charging!

Strangely, Mark seems to be staying well clear of his own thread.

Nothing at all wrong in selling them at a profit, you check completed items on ebay and see what the going price is and sell them at that.

If you sell them cheaper then odds are someone will buy them and make a profit themselves..
