Eze will be entering the final year of his Palace contract next year and he’ll have just turned 26. Unless he’s determined to see out his contract, it will be his big opportunity to move to a larger club. That said, his career to date has seen him play with 6 clubs in and around the London area, so we could be facing competition from Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea for his signature and that means the inevitable appeal of remaining in familiar environs. In that regards, it could turn into a similar situation to the one we found ourselves in with Rice. We should definitely test the waters but be prepared to paddle elsewhere.
