I think he’s a great player, and would do well here. £90m is obviously an insane amount though. Doesn’t solve the Rodri issue either.
Can only imagine they'd see him as an 8 and Kovacic sits at 6? If you play Bernardo as the other 8, he can drop back to form a pivot, with Foden at RW?

Im a huge Eze fan and I think under the guidance of Pep he could be a major player. I agree that £90m seems insane (and it is!) but I doubt it would be that money tbh. As Ric says, that is pure speculation.

We can do a lot fucking better than this. Bellingham was the calibre to begin with, ending up with this lad will be underwhelming.
Eze is a slightly more advanced version of McAtee and 5 years older. Doesn't address what we need, doesn't improve us, and we overpay massively. How did we go from discussing the likes of Bellingham, Rice, Paqueta, Barella, and Wirtz to Eze? This is a panic buy if I have ever seen one. I would rather go into the season with what we have. We haven't done these in a few years...Yeah - I honestly don't think Eze would make much more difference than if we trusted Mcatee with minutes.

In a market where Lavia goes for £53 million and Caicedo goes for £110 million - at the end of last season would you say Eze is not worth somewhere inbetween ? I'd say his value is around £80 million so if we want him and pay £90 million as it's so late in the window then so be it.
