I'm probably the only one that willing to give Phillips a chance rather than panic buy. That said the more I like the idea of Eze joining City even if its not who most were hoping forim still in the minority that thinks his biggest problem is that he can only play in one position and that position is currently occupied by the best in the world

Why do you think Zaha is better or more effective than Eze? Looking at goals + assists only I guess.My point is that Eze isn't as good as Zaha. Would I want Zaha? No - but he was far more effective than Eze. I gave him as an example of someone doing well in a lesser team - doesn't mean I want him.
As for being established, Eze is 25 and has a record of 15 goals and 11 assists in 87 games.
I'm confident that Cole, McAtee, etc could return similar stats with a run of games.
We still won things by getting rid of Lavia but signing Kalvin Phillips. Who would you rather have in your squad now?

Fabrizio Romano gets a slating on here but I'd imagine that with his 18.3 million followers he's the go to guy for lots of agents and clubs. He can afford to do it full time as he's presumably raking it in.
I have an advantage over many, in that I only focus on one club, have direct access to info, rather than aggregate stuff.
Coupled with my newsgathering skills, I have to believe it's a niche worth exploiting.

Do we need a Nunes? Well if there is no believe in Philips, yes we do.
Do we need an Eze? Very much doubt we do.
Gundogan is gone. But feck me he was able to be a Nunes, an Eze and even a Kovacic. How we managed not to keep hold of him … anyways he’s gone and we need a bigger squad preferably with players that are able to settle in fast like Kovacic.
