Eberechi Eze

So we look like we have def bid for Nunes (rejected at this point) but we ALSO may bid for Eze as well....?

I genuinely thought it would be one or the other.

I hope we do bid for both but do think a bid for both must see Phillips goes - if only on loan. I wonder if Phillips would fancy a season to get his confidence back and some much needed playing time. Sort of pivotal if Phillips starts on Sunday.

Very much doubt it. Two very different kind of midfielders.
Do we need a Nunes? Well if there is no believe in Philips, yes we do.
Do we need an Eze? Very much doubt we do.

Gundogan is gone. But feck me he was able to be a Nunes, an Eze and even a Kovacic. How we managed not to keep hold of him … anyways he’s gone and we need a bigger squad preferably with players that are able to settle in fast like Kovacic.
What I’ve seen of Kovacic in the first 4 games it’s beggars belief why Chelsea let him go. As for the 2 we are after id hope we get the 2 of them as the midfield needs a bit of bulking up with KDB out and Phillips career going down the pan we need bodies in there hopefully we get those two in and that be it

If Palace wants too much Txiki will be happy to walk away. who is plan X, Y and Z?

Why do you think Zaha is better or more effective than Eze? Looking at goals + assists only I guess.
Did you ever watch Palace when Zaha was there? Their whole game plan was to get the ball to him in order to create chances.

He held the ball up, dribbled past people for fun, won fouls/penalties, led counter attacks - this is all in addition to being their leading goals/assists maker for past however many seasons.

Eze is easy on eye. He doesn't impact matches anywhere near as much as Zaha did.
