Getting proof of that i would guess as near impossible and I really dont recall the same player profile in our 1st team squad costing 50m plus in any recent stoned memory being a 45yr supporting Blue? Please correct me if Im wrong

Re the concerns about us not getting in support/cover for Rodri, can’t Stones fulfill that role every now and again if needed, esp as Akanji is developing his ‘midfield Stones role’ too?

Eze is talented yes, but 90m? That's bad no matter how it's spun. He's 25 with no European experience, I'm sure we could get Barella for that price.

Well I'm sure that if one of those elite names (Barella, FDJ, Kimmich, Wirtz etc.) were available for similar price, City would buy them... It seems that none of those clubs want to sell / none of the players want to leave, so Eze is a decent option... More attacking and creative than FDJ, Kimmich and Barella for example...
