Isn't that how most zombie films start with a miracle experimental cure that goes wrong. Just nipping out to get a shotgun.

Does anyone have a little secret supply cupboard just in case we ever get a zombie type incident? Im just wondering what should be the key essentials.

I have a small generator with 2 months of fuel and the same supply of preserved food, plus medical supplies. Water would have to be dealt with closer to time, but there's always at least 20l of bottled in the house as the tap water isn't drinkable here.
(it's not specifically for zombie outbreaks btw :) I live in Sellafield's fall out zone and we've gotten pretty much cut off from shops by snow before as well)

Nah, the Sellafield thing is unlikely, we just have government/councils who respond to snow warnings by not buying grit/gritting vans etc so the place gets shut down completely by an inch or two of snow. The genny is priceless in power cuts though.

Thats a great start, i think id be fucked and a gonner in the initial outbreak.

Just seen horrid pic of a dead ebola victim just dumped in the street.
In Liberia people are that worried about contracting ebola they are just dumping the bodies in the streets now :-(
Seems silly as they must have to get close to do the dumping.

Edit:: seems it is because they are worried about being quarantined themselves.

That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me (weeps with emotion) hehe.

I knock England a bit but all-in-all we do not have it that bad.
The knat and now we have mozzies beyond that though nothing to really worry about.
You can't go to Africa without coming away with a tropical disease. Oz and south america have every murderous nasty little and large creature going.
