Why? He’s not called the mard arsed ****!Appropriate username
ok the ghostWe’ve signed the invisible man, while our season goes down the pan.
He arrived on Thursday not been here for a week yet! As Pep would say he’s been bought for the next 10 years not for the next 10 hoursWhen are we actually going to see him play? He wasn’t even in the squad on Saturday. It’s now March. Is he more Kakey than Julian?
Tevez took a while to settle, he was at West Ham signed in August but didn't score his first goal till March, but he did have a good end of season and his goals kept them up.Just thinking of other Argentine players and how quicky they settled .....
Ossie ardiles.straight away...... Ricky villa ? Let's not go there ...
Alex sabella @ Sheffield utd ,straight away
Tarantini @ Birmingham City straight away
Carlos tevez@ Whu...can't remember if he settled straight away
Sergio!!!!!!! Straight away !!
Who can tell, adapting to England is one thing, adapting to Pep is another.
Interesting .we will see
He is obviously more of a player than Julian Alverez,When are we actually going to see him play? He wasn’t even in the squad on Saturday. It’s now March. Is he more Kakey than Julian?
Mate, he was average at best! His most memorable moment was scoring at Southampton to get us 100 points, which he will always be remembered for!I know what you mean....But Jesus, before his two serious injuries, was,in my opinion, one of the most exciting forwards I've ever seen play the game.
You have to think back to those times,.....before the destructive knee injury.,..the lad was class.pure quality.Brazils no.9 no less....and Brazil is a big country....he rose to the very top, went to. City, and i remember him
Scoring proper centre forward headed goals ,as well as dazzling skills on the floor. He was pure magic.
Then came the injuries ,and being forced to run and press the defence for 90 mins..under peps orders..like a Paul dickov...,..
It is,imo,no wonder,he never achieved the heights he could off
But early Jesus,uninjured..,.was electric.in my eyes anyway.....
A fantastic player ,who suffered the same injury,as Paul Lake, but came back....
Do not forget the hard yards this young lad put in for City!
Average at best, lol none of the players in the greatest City side in history were average ,.butMate, he was average at best! His most memorable moment was scoring at Southampton to get us 100 points, which he will always be remembered for!
He certainly didn't have the same injury as Paul lake 'and come back' (Lakey had 14 operations in 5 years)!
For me tho he dosen't even make our top 3 ever Brazilians
1 - Ederson
2 - Fernandinho
3 - Elano

Mascherano who arrived at the same time never really looked the part under Pardew at West Ham, played well when he went to Liverpool though.
Might have been Pardew's management.

It's all about opinions....
Echeverri and Nico Gonzalez have been listed in a 33 man provisional squad for Argentina's WC qualifiers vs Uruguay and Brazil at the end of March.
I don't think this counts as a full call-up yet for Echeverri as it's described as a pre-list. This was announced a few days ago but I haven't seen this mentioned.

He's going to have a very difficult job breaking into City's match-day squads. He has to get past players like Gundogan, KDB, Grealish, Mcatee etc. I don't see Echeverri being named in the squad for Forest away. Wed 2nd April vs Leicester which follows shortly after the FA Cup tie at Bournemouth on Sunday evening is a possibility.
Oh. Double blunder then.Yeah saw on the player thread. Perrone in the squad too. Nico Gonzalez is the Juve player, not our new signing.
